“Miles drawn” is not the system's headline mileage. It is the length of the active segments currently on screen, measured from the county's own centrelines. The county separately reports 85.5 miles of greenway trails plus access, urban and nature trails counted differently — a centreline is not a corridor.

Surface is not gradient. A paved path can still be steep — the county records what a trail is made of, not how hard it is.

An entrance marked for parking means the county records parking at that access point. It does not tell you how many spaces there are, whether they are free, or whether any bay is accessible.

The trail and its car parks keep different hours. Park and Recreation states the trail is open at all times except during floods or repairs, while parking lots are open dawn to dusk.
