We publish only images we have established are free to reuse commercially — public domain, CC0, or a Creative Commons licence that permits it. We do not use an image because it appeared in a search result, and we do not use generated pictures as documentary images of real places.

Of the 165 approved images in the library, 116 are in use here. The rest are held for pages not yet written. Seven further images passed a metadata check and failed a visual one — they were rejected, not published.
