These are planning suggestions, not hotel rankings. We have not inspected individual hotels or compared their rates. Hotel availability, parking charges and shuttle service belong on the property's current booking information.
If you want to use transit
The Blue Line station list is the starting point: locate your lodging, then check the walk to a station on a map. The line runs from I-485/South Boulevard through Uptown to UNC Charlotte Main. South End, central Uptown and the 36th Street stop in NoDa sit along it. The Gold Line streetcar crosses the center city and reaches Elizabeth and the Historic West End.
The airport is not on the Blue Line. CLT's ground transportation page lists the CATS Sprinter, taxis, rideshare and other options. Check current routes and schedules with CATS before assuming that a transit trip works for your flight time.
If you will drive
A place that is convenient for your event may still charge for parking or have no on-site spaces. Ask the property what parking is included, then check the city's on-street parking information if you plan to use the street. Rules and rates vary by location and can change.
For destinations away from the rail corridor, compare the full trip from the exact lodging address. SouthPark, Ballantyne and many trailheads are different journeys from one another; a broad neighborhood label cannot tell you the travel time.
